The Antagonist
In the story there must be antagonist for the story to balance. This is the case with any story even in our mythology.
Here is scene of the Theyyam performing on fire and the drama enhanced through the act of this person challenging the fire. Theyyam cross the adversity (fire) and this person kindling the fire is the antagonist!

The Drama
f there is theatre someone must write and set the play. This is an act that many a times don’t get the due credit. This boy here is growing the fire to create the dramatic pass of Theyyam through it. It’s unbelievably hot, so to approach it and feed the fire, one must be highly motivated.

Manifestation
The future belongs to those who believe in their dreams.
Fire Dance!
Theyyam dancing around the fire after fearless episodes of jumping the fire. These are trace stages of the performance in Theyyam art form. This is also belief in transcendence of God in these artists.
It’s also underlying subtle competition among host families and performer in ability to pull the crowd for the event. More dramatic the better word of mouth and pulls more crowd.
